The latest data from the NPD Group, which tracks sales, shows that iPad ebook buyers have been spending an average of $6,800 per month on their ereaders, compared to a $2,200 average for the Samsung ereader.
The most recent data shows the Samsung Kindle was the most common choice among ebook readers in 2015, followed by the Samsung ebook with an average price of $3,300.
Samsung has long been the leader in ereader sales, as it has dominated the market since the beginning.
The Kindle has been a popular choice for many, but now it appears that Samsung is back at the top of the pack with an annualized growth rate of more than 20%.
In addition, Samsung has been able to increase its market share by a whopping 25% in the past year.
